The Lord provides in miraculous ways. It can be hard to trust God when resources are thin. But he always provides. Sometimes he provides in small ways. Just enough to get us by. Other times he provides in big ways. More than enough to last a while.
It’s far more satisfying when we trust God to provide because otherwise we rely on our own strength and abilities. Our strength will fail and our abilities will become dull. But the Lord never fails and he never grows tired. What a satisfying truth to believe!
Spend some time praying in light of what God’s Word teaches us:
- Thank the Lord for the many ways he has provided for you.
- Ask him for provision in your life.
- Ask him for provision in your friends and family member’s lives.
- Ask him to satisfy any worry you may have and to help you trust him.
- Remember and thank the Lord for his provision in the cross of Christ.
